VLCC Almond Nourishing Body Lotion Review

Today the product I am going to share my experience with you all is a body lotion from VLCC. I have already reviewed VLCC Cocoa Butter Hydrating Body Lotion Review (here) and this one is called VLCC Almond Nourishing Body Lotion Review. This body lotion is a little thicker than the cocoa one and read the full review to know whether this is a hit or a miss for me. 

Product Claim:-

Almond oil, enriched with vitamins A, B and E helps in maintaining the moisture levels of the skin. It seeps into the skin easily without blocking the pores. The conditioning natural ingredient enhances the complexion adding to the youthful radiance. VLCC has blended the nourishing benefits of this wonder oil with other natural conditioners like olive oil, aloe gel and wheat germ to create a non-greasy hydrating lotion with SPF 15 that protects from UVA and UVB rays and inhibits premature skin aging and pigmentation.

Directions for use:-

Apply it twice a day morning and evening, in the morning either after taking bath or 15 minutes before stepping out in the sun. 

My opinion on the product:-

I have the 350 ml bottle of this lotion and this one comes with a pump dispenser. It doesn’t have any twist and lock mechanism for the pump which is very handy while you are travelling.

The lock will secure the pump and prevent it from getting pressed which saves the product wastage. Instead of the twist lock it has a clip which seals the pump at its place. I have thrown my clip as the 350 bottle is a bit bulky and I might not take this with me on short holidays or trips.

The lotion is white in color also it is very thick and creamy. It has very light and musky scent which lingers for a while and slowly fades away. The fragrance is lighter than the cocoa one and my daughter approves. The lotion sinks into the skin without too much rubbing and leaves soft and healthy looking skin. It doesn’t makes my skin greasy and I like the glow it imparts.

The bottle is not travel friendly and it sits on my table. The pump dispenser is average and does its work well of dispensing and controlling the lotion flow. This season it suits my skin very well and my skin remains moisturized for longer. I have dry skin on arms and legs and might need to reapply in winters. It has SPF 15 which is an added benefit. With almond oil it also contains Wheat germ Extracts and Aloe Vera extract

• Leaves skin smooth

• Keeps skin moisturized for long
• Contains Almond oil, Wheat germ Extracts and Aloe Vera extract
• Has SPF 15
• Easy to apply

What I didn’t Liked:-

Packaging not travel friendly.

Will I repurchase and recommend:-

Yes, it has become one of my favorite body lotion I would recommend this to all dry, oily and combination skin type people.
