When my daughter’s summer vacation started in Bangalore we decided to visit our native where, our parents live. This the only time in the whole year when my daughter spend some time with her grandparents. I had ordered some salwar suits which were ready to stitch from homeshop18.com and got it delivered at my in-laws address as anyhow it would be stitched there only and not in Bangalore. So I thought that instead of getting the parcel in Bangalore and then taking them with me to my place it would be a good idea to get it shipped directly to my in-laws address. I really trusted this website and the company but what happened next? Read on to know more….

It is very popular and e commerce website which sells a whole range of beauty products, fitness products, Apparels, kitchen solutions, electronic equipments, mobiles, and much more. They also have their own channel which continuously airs their product videos in which they demonstrate and tell the benefits of the product.
My experience with the website:-
I had purchase 3 ready to stitch salwar kameez on line from this website which are
Women unstitched salwar suit in green and red from Salwar Studio
Women unstitched salwar suit in purple and red from Salwar Studio
Women unstitched salwar suit in green and pink from Salwar Studio
When I reached to my native place then my mother in law brought me those parcels that she had got 2 weeks back. It was still sealed and was never opened. I was very happy to get then and was eager to see the materials. I opened them one by one and to my shock I saw that the dress materials are not as they has mentioned on their website.
All these are in cotton and have same motifs as shown online but the products 31160657 and 3155497 were supposed to have embroidery on the top fabric but the one delivered to me do not have any embroidery on it. If you visit there website there they have clearly mentioned in their product details top printed, embroided. Now with the images below anyone can make out that it doesn’t have any embroidery.
When I mailed them asking whether they have delivered the wrong product then they mailed me back telling that nothing can be done as they have deliverd the product 2 weeks back and according to their company’s policy complaints done within 72 hrs of the product delivery will be entertained. Now I ask them why I still get submit ticket for complaints in my account details adjacent to every salwar suit bought.
Anyways I completely blame my self on trusting an online website like homeshop18.com. I thought they will deliver the product what they are showing on their website. They will cheat and give me the inferior quality product never crossed my mind. I never expected this from homeshop18 which is a subsidiary of Network18. In hindi we have a pharase “Naam Bare Aur Darshan Chote” means Big names and low mentality which completely suits them.
Will I purchase from this website:-
Nope I don’t think so, they can’t fool me twice. I am really very very disappointed form this website.
