Nivea Whitening Fruity Touch Deodorant

Hi Everyone,

Bangalore mercury level rises till 40 degrees in between mid February to mid May and becomes unbearable. And in this kind of weather I need something extra than a nice smelling deodorant. But mostly deodorants have alcohol which stings or makes underarms dark so I don’t directly put on my skin. I was very much impressed by the Nivea pearl deodorant which I found safe to use directly on skin (reviewed here). I wanted to try out some other fragrance so I got this one.

NIVEA Whitening Fruity Touch Deodorant lightens your skin to reveal visibly even toned underarms.

Its natural ingredients; licorice extracts & witch hazel reduce melanin production & soothe skin irritations.

Directions for Use:-

• SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE
• Spray directly on underarm skin
• Hold the can 15cms away from the underarm
• Do not spray on clothes
• Do not spray on broken or irritated skin
• Allow product to dry completely

My opinion on the product:-

As I have already mentioned that I was very much impressed by its pearl variant so I decided to give this a try. I was going to some place for vacation when I decided to buy something more than just nice smelling deodorant. I also wanted to lasts it for the whole day as we will be out in the sun shopping and exploring the place. So I got this as it claims to give 48 hour protection but, I must tell you that I have not tested this for this long just 10 to 15 hours maximum.

I am happy that it antiperspirant which keeps my underarms area dry and moisturized even when I am sweating like a pig under hot sun. It comes in white metal can bottle with spray with purple spray button. It does leaves a whitish cast when you spray but will blends after a while. The fragrance is very feminine, exotic and fruity which is not very overpowering. The fragrance is mild and did not irritate my nose so if you don’t like very strong smell you can try this out.

It lasts whole day in moderate temperature but needs to reapply after 8 hours when temperature is above 35 degrees. I have using the Nivea deodorants for more than 4 years now and it did not irritate my sensitive underarm skin at all. I don’t have very dark underarms and this deodorant really works if you use it regularly. I have seen the difference after using for 3-4 weeks. It will definitely not make your skin fair, if you have really dark underarms. So please do consult a skin specialist to get rid of that or you can share your homemade remedies which have worked for you.
