 Hi Everyone,

Today I am going to review a fairness lotion from Neutrogena. This lotion is called fine fairness lotion and have SPF 30 PA++. I got this mainly for its SPF factor which is sufficient for daily use when I am at home. My skin tans a lot in summers and the I thought that this fairness lotion might help me in removing and protecting from tan. Read on to know about its claims and effects on my skin.

What’s my Skin type:-

My facial skin is combination type, gets oily around my nose during summers and normal in winters.

What the Product claims:-

Neutrogena Fine Fairness Lotion SPF 30 PA++ is a daily moisturizing whitening lotion that helps protect skin against melanin and uneven pigmentation for a healthy, fair and translucent glow.

• Helps whiten skin from within : Neutrogena Healthy White Complex helps boost the whitening process and helps reduce the appearance of melanin and uneven pigmentation.
• Helps protect skin from photo damage : UVA/UVB formula with SPF 30 helps to shield the skin from darkening and photo damage.

For your best results, use in conjunction with other Neutrogena Fine Fairness products.

Directions for use:-

Use daily. Apply liberally to face and neck after cleansing in place of your regular moisturizer.

  My opinion on the product:-

Keeping in mind that it is endorsed by a bollywood diva Deepika Padukone and comes from an international brand Neutrogena I had my expectations from this lotion. This lotion failed to meet my expectations.  It is a normal daily moisturizer which can be used in summers and I needed to reapply after 5-6 hours.

 The lotion leaves a whitish cast on my skin when I applied this on my face I have medium skin tone and whenever I apply this I looked ghastly. I continued using this for 2 months but there was no change in my skin tone. I have used other fairness products from brands like Olay and Ponds which gave me much better results. I kept using this lotion till it got finished only for its SPF and moisturizing effect. This is a good moisturizer for summers because of its SPF content.

Color and Texture – the color of the lotion is white and its texture is neither very runny nor very thick which spreads easily on my skin.

  Packaging – It comes a cute, small and opaque white plastic bottle with a pump. The pup makes it convenient to take the lotion out of the bottle. I needed only one pump for my whole face.

Fragrance – Flowery fragrance which is mild and not overpowering.

What I liked:-

• Spreads easily

What I didn’t liked:-

• Leaves whitish cast
• Doesn’t lightens skin tone

Will I repurchase and recommend:-

No, I will not repurchase it (as there are many other lotions are available with SPF and are more hydrating) and would recommend you not especially if you want skin lighting effect lotion.

Final Words:-

I have medium skin tone and leaves white cast on my skin. I have also heard that people having fair skin tone finds this lotion quite good and it makes their skin bright. It might be a good lotion in summers but somehow it didn’t worked for me.
