It still raining here but the temperature was litter high today. Winter is already here and my dry skin problems will soon start. I have made few purchases few weeks back and as I told I will be reviewing the products one by one. Today I am going to review  face wash which is good for summers and winters both and it’s from a very popular brand Garnier whose name itself is enough.

My opinion on the product:-

When I got this few weeks back it was summer here in Bangalore and I started using this. I have combination type skin and temperature here was around 30⁰C -33⁰C. My face used to get oil around my nose and eyelids, it suited my skin well. It does cleans my skin well and takes away all the dirt and oil from my face. I have yet to test it when the temperature is above 40⁰C. The wash is little runny and transparent with a little bluish tint.

When I first applied on my face it felt so cool which make it really awesome and appropriate for summers. The smell was also very refreshing, something like peppermint. The cooling effect and the smell is due to the menthol content in the wash. It has SLS too but does very good job in shrinking the pores and removing the whiteheads to an extent. It has Salicylic Acid which is good for fighting skin troubles like acne.

Vaccinium Myrtillus Extract which is anti-inflammatory and good for the skin in summers. It is Bilberry extract which is good and a conditioning agent for the skin. It contains Zinc which has skin purifying qualities.

Now, that the mercury has dropped and temperature is around 18⁰C – 24⁰C, I don’t feel like using this much. I always use baby oil or EV olive oil to remove my makeup and then I use this wash to remove the oil and any traces of makeup from my face. My face doesn’t secrete oil in winters so I don’t need use this daily but whenever I use this it doesn’t makes my skin  stretchy or dry. I do apply a light moisturizer after cleansing but with this wash I feel like I can skip one but it is always good to apply a moisturizer.

What I Liked:-

• Removes whiteheads
• Tightens skin pores
• Removes extra oil from face
• Controls sebum and prevents pimples
• Doesn’t dry out my skin.
• Easy to apply

What I didn’t Liked:-

Nothing.

Will I repurchase and recommend:-

Yes, it has become my favorite face wash for summers and I would recommend this to all oily and combination skin type people.
