My opinion on the product:-
I was looking for a brush kit without expending a bomb and this one caught my attention while shopping online on an e-commerce site. This kit had more or less the brushes that I needed for daily use when I started learning ABC of makeup.
This comes in a hard plastic case which keeps my brushes dust free. I must say this is the best budget brush kit that I have found till date for starters. Let me tell you one by one about these brushes.
Blush Brush
This brush is the thicket in the kit and the hairs are nicely packet. I cant comment on what is it made of as nothing is mentioned on the pack and on its website. The brush is soft and does its job of applying blush or bronzers perfectly. The handle is small but you can easily use it without any difficulty. The hair is black in color and sometimes smells like vega blush brush which claims to be made of natural hair. This brush picks up product nicely and blends well. You might notice few hairs shed in first few washes but after that there was no shedding.
Eyeshadow Brush
This brush is a little brown in color and has no smell at all. There was no shedding when I washed this brush. The hairs are nicely packed and its feels soft on skin. This one also picks up the product precisely and does the job of applying and blending perfectly well. I have an eyeshadow brush from the same brand and on its back it is mentioned that it is made of soft nylon bristles. I just feel that both the brushes look alike and might be same. But I must tell you that nothing is mentioned on this brush travel kit. The length of its handle is not a problem at all and it does its job perfectly well.
Eyeshadow Applicator
I don’t know why they have given this one, frankly telling you that I wouldn’t have bought this alone. This comes with the kit so I had to keep it. The sponge applicators are wastage of money if you would ask me. Almost all the palettes give these types of applicators with them. I wish they had given some other brush and not a sponge applicator. Any ways the sponge is soft and does a nice job of applying eyeshadow. But you can’t blend using this and you will need an eyeshadow brush.
Lip Brush
This is very cute small brush and have few brushes tightly packed. The brush feels soft and does the job of applying lipsticks very well. There was absolutely no shedding when I washed it.
Brow/Lash Brush
This one is the hardest of them all and the bristles are unevenly cut. First I thought that it is an eyeliner brush and tried to use it for applying eyeliner. I realized that it is very hard and scratchy on my eyelids so I stopped using it and hought it was totally a waste. One day I was reading the back of the kit where it is mentioned that this id for eye lashes and eyebrows. Now I have no issues with this brush and it does the job of managing my brows well also takes out glitter from my eyelids when I apply them.
What I Liked:-
- Comes with a hard plastic case
- Brushed are soft
- Nice quality
- Affordable
- Travel friendly
- Does its job well even with small handles.
What I didn’t Liked:-
Some brushes are of no use like the eyeshadow applicator.
Will I repurchase and recommend:-
Yes, you will love this and comes handy while travelling
Rating:-
3.75/5
