I have always used Vaseline Body lotions and liked them a lot. I have used this lotion when it was first launched and my friends were fond of its smell which is amazing. I suffer from dry skin on arm and legs which this lotion failed to treat those areas before. Few months back when I visited a relative’s house I saw this one and asked her if she is satisfied with the lotion. She said yes, and to my surprise she also confessed of having same dry skin problem like me. I thought I must try this out and got this in my next purchase. So I got this to try out ASAP and reviewed it  here.

I have very dry skin which becomes super dry in winters.

Ingredients:-

Water, mineral oil, glycerine, cetearyl alcohol, niacinamide, sodium cetearyl sulphate, dimethicone, glyceryl stearate, paraffin, fragrance, microcrystalline wax, cellulose gum, methylparaben, disodium EDTA, DMDM hydantoin, propylparaben, tocopheryl acetate, benzophenone-3, BHT, sodium ascorbyl phosphate, simethicone.

Directions for use:-

Use twice daily as a part of your skin care regime. Massage lightly on skin with finger-tips until completely absorbed.

Packaging :–

After so many years almost a decade, the packaging has not changed. The Packaging is same white colored bottle with pink flip open cap which is sturdy and travel friendly.

Color and texture:-

Color is white and the texture has improved and has become more thick and creamy.

Fragrance :–

Fragrance is same I think (though I don’t remember correctly) nice and floral but strong.

My opinion on the product:-

When first time I had used it I was a little disappointed as it was not sufficient for my dry arms and legs. I was really pleased with the floral fragrance but never repurchased it. After so many years It again caught my eyes and I wanted to try it out. Please note that when I purchased this it was already summer and it’s the time when I don’t need heavy lotions. So it was sufficient for my dry skin. The lotion also contains triple vitamin B3, E, and C which is added benefits.

 The lotin is really thick and creamy, which keeps my skin hydrated and moisturized for good 5-6 hours. The lotion takes some time to get absorbed in the skin due to its thick consistency. The fragrance is vey nice and lingers for long. I am happy with the product in the present weather conditions and have to test it how it will perform on exermly dry skin(I have in winters and till march /april). It doesn’t have any other added bnefits like skin lightening, thightening or UV pretection.

 What I liked:-

• Affordable
• Creamy and thick texture that nourishes the skin deeply.
• Contains triple vitamin B3, E, and C
• Makes my skin feel soft, smooth and moisturized.
• Nice floral fragrance
• Easily available

What I didn’t liked:-

• No UV protection
• No skin lightening or tightening benefits

Will I repurchase and recommend:-

Yes, and I am curious to test it in winters and see if it can beat my trusted Vaseline cocoa glow body lotion.
