Today I am going to review a body lotion from Yardley London it is called English Rose Moisturising Body Lotion. My daughter like rosy smell and after I was out of Ayur cold cream which smelled like roses I thought of giving this a try. Read on to know more about this lotion.

My opinion on the product:-

I have the 200 ml bottle which comes in the cartoon box having rose floral prints. The bottle itself is a white opaque plastic one with a pump dispenser. I liked the pump dispenser which is very hygienic and will not allow any wastage of product. The pump dispenser has a screw lock mechanism which you need to unscrew then only you can pump out the lotion from the bottle so while you are travelling you can screw the dispenser.

When I pumped out a small quantity of lotion out on my palm the first thing that hit my senses was the fragrance of the lotion. It is very heavily scented of roses and I bet you won’t need any perfume if you apply this.  I am not a fan of very strong smell but this one smells amazing. If you like floral scent you will fall in love with this just like my daughter. The rose fragrance lingers for a long time and then disappears. Once after few hours of applying this I can make out that the rose fragrance is fading I washed my hands with just plain water and then again I started smelling like roses.

The lotion has thicker consistency and is creamy which glides smoothly on my skin. It gets absorbed in the skin very easily without leaving any kind of residue. It instantly hydrates my skin and keeps it moisturized for good 4-5 hours in summers without making it greasy. I have very dry skin and it is perfect for summers but might not be sufficient during winters. The lotion penetrates deep into the skin making it soft and smooth.

It claims to have vitamin B3 and C which lightens and hydrates the skin. The lotion smells like freshly picked roses and the smell can be a little overpowering is you apply too much. I apply just a little which keep me hydrated and smelling like roses for long time. It has become me and my daughter’s favorite body lotion for summers.

What I didn’t Liked:-

• Not apt for winters as I need heavy lotions.

Yes, it has become my favorite lotion for summers and I would recommend this to all who love rose fragrance.
