Hello everyone,

New year is near and my skin has started feeling itchy and dry. I had bought this Nivea Nourishing Body Milk just a few weeks back while doing my grocery shopping.Let’s see how it fared.

What’s my Skin type:-

I have very dry skin which becomes super dry in winters.

What the Product claims:-

Nourishing Body Milk, especially developed to meet the needs of dry skin. Moisturizing care for dry skin. Enriched with skin-own moisturizers, Serine and Alanine, the rich caring milk works with the skin to stimulate its own moisture production in natural way, reducing the roughness of dry skin perceptibly. The milk absorbs quickly to return the dry skin to its natural softness and smoothness leaving it smooth all day long

Directions for use:-

Use Nivea Nourishing Body Milk every time after shower or bath or after being out in the sun. Apply on arms and legs and all over your body.

My opinion on the product:-

This body lotion claims to give 24 hr moisturizing care for dry skin. The color of the lotion is while and texture is not thick or very runny but something in between. The smell is very mild, nice and refreshing I liked the smell. But the smell doesn’t lasts for much time lingers for not more than 20-30 min. The lotion doesn’t leave any oily feeling. Skin looks nourished and moisturized after applying this lotion but its claim for 24 hr moisturization for dry skin is not true. It specifies that it is especially developed to meet the needs of dry skin, but fails to keep my skin moisturized for more than 2-3 hr. I think it will suit me in summers but definitely not in winters.

What I liked:-

• Smell,very nice and mild.
• Packaging is also attractive, blue bottle with flip cap which is tight and secure so, no chances of spilling.
• The light texture which gets absorbed in the skin without much rubbing.
• Skin really feels nice and soft after application.
• Affordable.

What I didn’t liked:-

• Smell vanishes in 30 mins.
• The moisturizing effect doesn’t last long.
• Need to reapply in 3 hrs.
• Very light lotion for dry skin like mine. The 24hr claim is not true.
Will I repurchase and recommend:-
No, if you have dry skin. But you can use it in summers.
