Today I am going to tell you about a versatile product which most of us will be having at home. I came across this new variant of Vaseline which they launched more than three year ago and I wanted to try this out to see how different this is from its original one.

How Vaseline Jelly Works?:-

Vaseline Jelly is the original wonder jelly. It works by creating a sealing barrier between cells, which locks in moisture and speeds up your skin’s natural recovery from dryness, helping it heal from within. Its occlusive function also allows it to protect dry, cracked skin and minor cuts. With germ protection technology it keeps germs out and moisture in. Our jelly is triple-purified to be 100% pure. My opinion on the product:-

This product comes in a same translucent tub like packaging but with red lid. The feel and the texture of the petroleum jelly is same as original one except the smell as this one has a mild smell into it. I use this jelly on my elbows, nails, knee, heels, etc. and is satisfied with the result.

It claims to be non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores) so those having acne or pimple prone skin can use this. I have read so many times different uses of Vaseline and wanted to try out but was a little skeptical how it would react on my facial skin. But after this I am using this without any hesitation but if you are facing any problem using this on face please stop it at once.

Everyone is different and have different skin types if anything suits me might not suit to everyone. Also the tub packaging is a little unhygienic, so it is advisable to sanitize hands before taking the petroleum jelly out of the tub. It moisturizes my skin instantly and keeps it hydrated for long period of time. I use it during night before going to bed so there are no chances to transfer the jelly everywhere.

Few uses of Vaseline Petroleum Jelly:-

Heal wounds– This one has germ protection and can be helpful to treat minor wounds like scratches, cuts, cracks and flakes. Also, its moisture property will speed up the healing of any wounds.

Cure chapped lips and make them pink – It moisturizes your lips and can be applied as many times as possible in a day. It makes your lips appear so naturally smooth and moist. It can also get rid of the darker pigments on your lips.

Longer and thicker eyelashes – I haven’t tried it tough but many beauty bloggers vouch on this unbelievable miracle of petroleum. Apply some jelly onto your eyelashes every night before going to bed. You will notice a longer, and much thicker eyelashes within two weeks.

Hair moisturizer and split ends – it can be used as a wonderful hair moisturizer. Just use a dab of petroleum jelly to keep your hair well moisturized, and manageable. It also helps cure split ends by applying some onto the ends of your hair.

Moisturizes skin – Apply it thoroughly onto your whole face every night before going to bed. I usually take the jelly and warm a little by rubbing between my both palms. I have noticed moisture and smoothness in my facial skin.

As body lotion – I sometimes apply it on my hands and legs and it very effectively help to get rid of dry and patchy skin problem completely.

Make up remover – It is so mild and safe to use that I have used this to remove makeup. It is hypo allergic and non-comedogenic which does not irritate the eyes and block pores.

Lipstick stains – Vaseline removes lipstick stains from soft materials by rubbing some onto the stained part of the cloth before washing, and watch those stains disappear.

Beautiful nails – Apply it onto your nails to keep them strong and shiny.

Diaper rash – it is very gentle and safe to be used on small babies and works amazingly in preventing diaper rashes. Apply some Vaseline on your baby’s bottom before putting on a new diaper.

Everlasting fragrance – do you find really disappointing when your favorite perfume scent constantly fades away too early? You can make the scent last with the help of petroleum jelly. Before spritzing on your perfume, dab some on your pulse points and watch the scent last for the entire day.

Tamed eyebrows – Apply some on your eyebrows with fingertips and shape it.
