I am back in Bangalore with review on TRESemmé Split Remedy Shampoo. The Gift hamper with shampoo and conditioner was send by TRESemmé team of Uniliver for review. I have already used their hair fall control shampoo and satisfied with the results. I really like this brand as they it is used by professionals. Continue to read to know how it worked on my split ends.

 How it Works?:-

THE FORMULATION: Reducing split ends takes serious science. Our starting point was this: your hair’s frayed ends are negatively charged. So we created a Reconstructing Complex with positively charged polymers inside a gel body…and opposites attract.

Ingredients:-

 My opinion on the product:-

 I have dry hair & scalp and I also use hair straightener, which make it even more dry resulting in split ends.  I had always believed that if you want to get rid of spit ends and dry hair at the tips of your hair you need to chop them off.  After some hair fall and few chopping the lifeless dull and split ends at the end of my hair my hair started to look very thin and short. If you are like me then you are not alone .

 Color: The shampoo is white in color and have some shimmers that you can see in the pictures too but don’t worry it won’t stay on your hair after wash.

Texture: The shampoo has a bit runny lotion like texture which makes it easy to apply on hair.

Fragrance: Nice fragrance which lingers throughout the day on your hair. 

 Packaging:  The shampoo comes in black opaque bottle which is common in TRESemmé shampoo from other range too. The smaller bottle have greenish button cap which you need to press to open. The biggest one have pump dispenser which makes it easy to use. But in case you want to keep them while travelling then but the smaller bottle the press button cap makes it leak proof.

  While using it for first time I took a small amount on by hands and rubbed the shampoo between my both palms then applied on my wet hair rubbing and massaging gently. I noticed that you only need a small amount every time to make a nice lather. I always oil my hair a night before shampoo and this one effectively cleaned my hair and made it oil free.

I rinsed it properly and after towel drying my hair really felt clean and shiny. I continued using this for 2-3 weeks and now can say that it is a good shampoo which makes my hair soft and shiny. It didn’t weighed down my hair.

I did not see any drastic change on my split ends but my hair looks healthier now. May be I need to use it for more time and see. I’ll update if I notice any change in my split ends. Altogether it is a nice shampoo and I really love my hair when I touch them

What I didn’t Liked:-

• No change on split ends after 2-3 week of usage.

Will I repurchase and recommend:-

Yes, even it doesn’t work on split ends after 2-3 week of usage, it has really made my hair look soft, healthy and shiny.
